A core part of MULCH Flowers is working with community projects, so that the joy and comfort flowers bring can be shared beyond special occasions and luxury spaces.
We Are Grow is an agroecological farm based in North London. Their work supports children, young people, families, and adults, prioritising those facing barriers to learning, wellbeing, and the outdoors.
Issy facilitates weekly BUNCH Flower Academy sessions, a floristry and flower growing course designed for young people aged 13–16 at risk of Not Continuing in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET) and facing barriers to their mental health and wellbeing.
Participants gain an AQA award in ‘Introduction to Floristry: Knowledge of Flowers and Foliage’. BUNCH provides participants with hands-on experience in floristry while supporting their personal and professional growth.
Issy is part of the team at Bread & Roses, an organisation pioneering the use of floriculture therapy. Bread & Roses harnesses the benefits of working with flowers to create welcoming spaces where women from refugee backgrounds can build confidence, learn new skills, and connect with others.
